Sydney Eisteddfod provides performance opportunities, prizes and scholarships exceeding the value of $400,000.
The 2016 Program is open to all ages and includes just under 350 events for aspiring and emerging performing artists in the categories of Classical Singing, Contemporary Singing, Choirs, Piano, Instrumental Solos, Instrumental Groups, Speech & Drama and Dance.
The Sydney Eisteddfod was established in 1933 to promote the pursuit of excellence, especially amongst young people, with opportunities to perform in public through professionally judged competitions; to assist aspiring performers and develop lifelong engagement in the performing arts.
Apart from possible career building credits, performing in public amongst your peers builds confidence and offers a significant and fun-filled learning experience.
The entry deadline is 14 March 2016; late entries may be accepted after this date however late fees may apply.
The 2016 Sydney Eisteddfod will be held May through to September at various venues across Sydney.
