Art Month Sapphire Coast, a month of art, performances, music, events and glorious food this August
Local artists, creatives, performers and musicians, events, lunches and dinners, dancing will shine for the month of August, trip the fantastic light down the 225kms of our spectacular coast line. Enjoy the wealth of extremely talented artists and performers in the Bega Valley as we showcase their talents from Bermagui to Eden and town in between for the entire month of August. From the sea to the hills, the bush to the beach, let us show you Forage along the fringe of coast or head for the hills for live music, open studios, film nights, and long table lunches in paddocks. Get yourself moving to dance classes, a walking tour, be fascinated by a book reading or something completely unheard of under the historic streets of our towns. From Bermagui in the north, to Eden in the south, via Cobargo, Candelo and the Brown Mountain track we have gathered our artists, craftspeople and performers for a wealth of winter wonders.

Forage along the fringe of coast or head for the hills for live music, open studios, ï¬lm nights, get yourself moving to dance classes, cabaret performance, engage in the thrill of live theatre, a walking tour, a poetry reading, comedy night or something completely unheard of on a wharf as the sea swirls beneath your feet.
From Bermagui in the north, to Eden in the south, via Cobargo, Candelo and the Brown Mountain track we will be gathering our artists, craftspeople and performers for a wealth of winter wonders.
ƒ The Motel Art Fair “ kicks oï¬ Art Month
Launching with a VIP preview on Friday night 30th July (sold out!), and running all day Saturday 31st, come along and grab a bite to eat from a local food truck, and sip a locally hand- crafted gin while you peruse artwork for your collection and sway to the sounds of our local musicians at a retro seaside motel overlooking Merimbula. 19 artists will each take over a gloriously kitsch room in the Norfolk Pine Motel, creating a personal space in which to display their works. The artists will be on hand to tell you the stories behind the works. You might even learn some secrets of the area.
For the entire month of August, ART MONTH Sapphire Coast will provide a plethora of opportunities for our region's best artists, performers and musicians, ensuring a strong ongoing future for the creative life of our picturesque far south coast. ART MONTH Sapphire Coast will continue in line with NSW Health advice for regional NSW. Physical distancing, mask requirements, sign in will be required at all venues. Please note numbers will be restricted to some events so get in early!
