The temporary closure of The Old Fire Station Gallery by the Redcliffe Art Society (RAS) during the COVID-19 Government recommendations was swiftly and carefully handled by the management committee. The news of reopening the gallery space was met with both caution and delight. The exhibitions that had previously been booked were rescheduled until late 2020 and into 2021.
Launching the reopening, a potpourri of expertise by the art tutors and convenors of the society currently adorn the freshly painted gallery space. The response to this exhibition has been very positive, and many closet creatives are planning to realise their dreams with art classes at RAS.
Visitors are welcome to the Gallery from Wednesday to Sunday from 10am to 3pm. The Gallery shop sells local artisan wares and original artwork at prices to suit all budgets.
