Though our music is universal, international and appealing to a wide demographic, it's still considered a niche genre that gets pigeon-holed way too easily.
Winning an award like this validates the massive effort that goes into keeping a band afloat, especially with a band our size.
It has inspired us to dig deeper with our creativity and stay on top of our game."

Whilst nominees in the categories of Rock and Pop, Best Festival, Best Small Venue, Best Regional Venue and Best Large Venue are selected by the Judges, this year, The Awards have extended to consider submissions.

The Age Music Victoria Awards celebrate its 11th year with a huge line-up of Victoria's best talent at 170 Russell on Wednesday 16 November, during Melbourne Music Week program. Co-presented by Triple R 102.7FM and PBS 106.7FM, The After Party opens to the general public from 8.30pm.
Submissions are open now until 31 August 2016 and nominees will be announced Friday 7 October.
