Renowned for shattering conventions and flipping the traditional gallery model on its head, this edition of the Fair will bring together over 100 emerging and independent artists, interactive installations and unforgettable experiences that will leave art lovers and collectors craving more.

Since its last appearance in Melbourne in 2022, local artists and art lovers alike have been calling for its return. Presented by Saatchi Art, the fair has always been more than just an exhibition—it’s an essential part of Melbourne's creative fabric, and this upcoming edition of the fair provides an ideal platform for Melbourne-based artists to showcase their talents, ideas, and deep connection to the city’s rich artistic heritage. The latest editions of The Other Art Fair in Australia also mark a major milestone—the 100th global edition of the Fair—a remarkable achievement that highlights its growing impact on the international art scene.

"We’re thrilled to be returning to Melbourne,” said Luke Potkin, Fair Director. “As the city continues to evolve as a cultural powerhouse known for its passion, innovation, and deep ties to the arts, The Other Art Fair is at the forefront of making art truly accessible to everyone. We can’t wait to see how the community will engage with the diverse talent as it returns to Melbourne in full swing, ready to ignite the city’s art scene with fresh energy and creativity.”

Featuring a curated selection of independent artists from Melbourne and beyond, the Fair offers an exciting mix of artistic practices including painting, sculpture, photography, installation, and digital art. Artists like Steve Leadbeater, Katherine Gailer & Lucy Lucy and Simone Thomson will be among the standout exhibitors, each bringing their unique perspective and innovative approach to contemporary art.

"I'm excited to be finally exhibiting at The Other Art Fair Melbourne” said artist Steve Leadbeater. “For years I've enjoyed watching artists from around the world share their craft with wider audiences — in person and online. They all seem to level up, and never look back — so inspiring! Now it's my turn."

As the fair continues to attract a diverse range of artists, many are eager to engage with Melbourne’s vibrant art scene and connect with its dynamic community. Upcoming exhibitor Katerine Gailer shared her excitement: "Art, like living organisms, thrives on movement, and The Other Art Fair is the perfect place to nurture that dynamic energy. I am excited to activate a space and connect with a vibrant community of creatives and collectors. This platform celebrates Melbourne's cultural diversity, and I can't wait to experience the variety of local artistic expression."

Alongside this incredible line-up of artists and opportunities to meet the artists themselves, visitors will enjoy an array of engaging activities including immersive installations, performances, tattooing and DJs.
