The highly-acclaimed Australian play Bombshells by multi-award winning writer Joanna Murray-Smith is a series of monologues depicted by six characters, and was first performed by Caroline O'Connor in 2001. Presented in a new format by The Dog Theatre for the 2016 Melbourne Fringe festival, emerging ensemble ROARE re-examine the roles of these six different women, and their desperate yet humorous approaches to balancing their inner lives with their outer worlds.

Bombshells is the first play produced by The Dog Theatre under the new artistic direction of Luke Rogers since relocating to Wick Studios, a cutting-edge recording and rehearsal facility and events venue in the heart of Brunswick. Directed by highly regarded Australian artist Kaarin Fairfax (The Little Theatre Company), Bombshells is performed by Ruby Duncan, Olivia Ramsay, Anjelica Angwin, Angie Glavas, Ruby Swann and Emily Riley.
Bombshells features as part of The Dog Theatre's WICK FRINGE programme for the 2016 Melbourne Fringe festival, among a large variety of other theatre productions, ongoing events and visual art exhibitions.
