On Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 March 2018 the Geelong Arts Precinct will host 60 workshop participants, emerging artists and guest artists as Back to Back Theatre's popular community program CAMP returns.
CAMP is Back to Back Theatre's annual weekend of delightfully ruthless theatre-making workshops for community members with and without disability who love, or are curious about performance making.
Nationally recognised contemporary artists will facilitate 12 inclusive workshops over two days covering a range of performance art forms such as dance, puppetry, script writing, opera and improvisation. The Back to Back Theatre ensemble will run group warm ups on both days and each workshop will result in a mini-performance.
Workshop facilitators for this year's event include Artistic Director of Fraught Outfit, Adena Jacobs, multi-art performer Joseph O'Farrell (JOF), visual ecologist Aviva Reed and a special first-time collaboration with the Geelong Library.
No experience is necessary and new faces are especially welcome.
