With music by Andrew Lloyd Webber and lyrics by Don Black, Tell Me on a Sunday' is a one act, one woman song cycle about the passion, determination and strength of spirit it takes to navigate the world of love, life & relationships.

First presented at the 1979 Sydmonton Festival, starring Marti Webb, it follows the fortunes of a young English girl, recently landed in New York and brimming with optimism. As she weaves her way through the maze of the cities and her own anxieties, frustrations and heartaches, she begins to wonder whether”in fact”she's been looking for love in all the wrong places! It contains some of Andrew Lloyd Webber's most treasured & hauntingly expressive songs including Tell Me on a Sunday and Take that look off your face.

Season runs from Wednesday 1st April to Saturday 4th April - 5 shows only! It is presented in the historic Gallery Room' on the top floor of the Kirribilli Centre. This beautiful boutique venue provides us with the perfect intimate setting for an evening of up close and engaging theatre. There are excellent transport links nearby, as well as many local bars and restaurants to complete the evening. Seating is limited and most performances last year completely sold out, so make sure not to miss out on what will be a must see' production.

Stage direction is by Declan Moore, and musical direction by Andrew Bartle and it stars the amazingly talented Nikole Music in the lead role. With relatable themes, as contemporary and meaningful now as they were when the show was first performed, Tell Me on a Sunday' is sometimes funny, sometimes sad, sometimes fragile, sometimes strong “ but always insightful and engaging!

The show speaks perfectly to one of D2's core concepts - of presenting works that highlight strong, powerful, passionate and resilient women. And with all profits again being donated to our worthy charity partner -Dementia Australia - not only will you be supporting new independent theatre, but helping make a difference as you do!
