Produced by international super-producer Gus Hoevenaars, who has worked with the likes of The Scissor Sisters and The Pierces to name a few, "If I Die" is an uplifting sing-a-long journey that builds with catchy chord progressions and bold, soulful vocals to textural crescendos of soaring heights.
"If I Die is about an internal struggle around the ideology and concepts of religion and how people are raised to believe in stories or traditions dependent on their surroundings. It cries out for a greater knowledge of the world and to see outside the box that certain beliefs can trap you in." - Dan Vogl
Starting the year off on incredible notes, Dan won the 2017 "The Push" Music Industry Pathways Mentoring Program gaining invaluable knowledge and skills from a slew of experienced industry professionals in Australian music such as Ainslie Wills, Darren Middleton (Powderfinger), Ella Hooper (Killing Heidi), Jen Cloher and Oscar Dawson (Holy Holy).
The Speaker Sessions video gives a glimpse into Dan Vogl"s captivating live show that has already wooed audiences this year at The Hills Are Alive Festival, and serves as a precursor to his upcoming single launch on Thursday 27 July upstairs at The Gasometer Hotel with support from Hey Mammoth.
