It's now standard to express ourselves through the immediacy of emojis, GIFs, and lols. Communicating in sentences, phone calls and letters is becoming a thing of the past.

We ask, what might be lost because of this? Dead Letter Club is our answer.

Sending a letter is the next best thing to showing up at someone's door. Ink from your pen touches the stationary, your fingers touch the paper, your spit seals the envelope.

These evenings are in dedication to the written word through creative letter writing.

And what better way to write and socialise then with the aid of the famous food and brilliant bar courtesy of The Gem Bar & Dining, Collingwood. Arrive early to feast of The Gem's incredible American BBQ and pub food.

It's important for participants to arrive by start time - 7pm and stay for the course of the correspondence.
