Musical Theatre performers, take a chance to develop all aspects of audition technique, musical theatre performance and career development "“ tailored specifically to the 10 participants of each age group. Over a 6-month period, participants will work with musical theatre star and Australia's leading teacher of audition technique, Queenie van de Zandt, alongside a team of guest tutors made up of Australia's leading musical theatre actors, choreographers, directors, casting agents, marketers, producers, musical directors, and publicists. With 10 spots available in each masterclass series "“ participants will be chosen through an online audition process.

Queenie van de Zandt, and Australia's most experienced and respected musical theatre professionals, will work exclusively for 6 months with 10 talented performers in each of the following groups: Professional (Adults), Pre-Professional (14-17 years) and Youth (8-13 years) Weekly Masterclasses.
Having studied audition technique for over 20 years and with 30 years as a performer, Queenie has developed a unique audition and performance practice, that has helped her former students gain lead roles in shows such as Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, Pricilla: Queen of the Desert, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, The Sound of Music, Grease, Matilda, Singin' in the Rain, and Les Miserables, to name just a few. It is this success that has seen her hailed in the press as a musical theatre star-maker'.
What makes the Musical Theatre Intensive Weekly Masterclasses so unique, is that participants not only get to learn Queenie's audition practice, and work with her on all aspects of theatre performance and career development, they also get to work with, and be seen by Australia's leading musical theatre directors, choreographers, casting agents, actors, marketers, producers, musical directors, and publicists.
As there are only 10 spots available in each weekly masterclass "“ participants will be chosen through an online audition process. The Musical Theatre Intensive Weekly Masterclasses will be tailored not only to the skills and challenges of the 10 participants but will also adapt to respond to the theatrical marketplace and the auditions and opportunities that present themselves during the 6-month period.
Each of the weekly masterclasses culminates in a public performance at the end of the year, where graduates perform for invited industry guests, agents and tutors, as well as friends and family.
