EMSLA comes to Wollongong
As Australia"s only national Still Life Painting Award, EMSLA is celebrating it"s eleventh consecutive year with a new $20,000 non-acquisitive First Prize, and relocation to Wollongong.The Eutick Memorial Still Life Award is the brainchild of benefactor Dr Mal Eutick and his family,
Previous EMSLA winners over the past ten years, include Sam Leach, Laurie Massuto, Angus Nivison, Pam Tippett, Jonathan Crowther and Emily Ferretti.
John McDonald, art critic for the Sydney Morning Herald, will judge the prize, which is open to all Australian artists over the age of eighteen.
The celebrations continue with the EMSLA festival, coinciding with Viva La Gong on Saturday 11th November. Guests include talented painters, performances by award winning soprano Rachel Bate, and a concert by international composer and pianist, Elena Kats Chernin.

EMSLA 2017 opens on Friday 10th of November at 7.00pm at Project Contemporary Art Space, where the winner will be announced. Everyone is welcome to this gala event.
