Bringing you two excellent Gold Coast artists together for ONE NIGHT only to emerge their intricate styles into one epic art exhibition and live painting show, all while Tapas Club serves up delicious food and drinks to the smooth tunes of DJ Freddy Fly Fingers.

CRT Designs is a mixed media artist based on the Gold Coast. Courtenay's trademark is 'CRT' which is derived from her nickname Court, and has now developed into her artist signature symbol. Her design brand Crt is gaining worldwide attention due to her re-imagining of popular culture, shedding a perviously unseen or unthought of light onto well known characters. Art is about perspective. The way we perceive and consume imagery is instinctual and developed over time. Courtenay breaks the rules of perception, she draws inspiration from her childhood, crosses it over with her current life and creates a unique character style that is truly visionary. Marcela, is a Gold Coast artist who has a studio at Miami Marketta under the name of Sketches by Marcela. She hails from El Salvador but has called Australia home for the past 15 years, and she has been painting from the moment she could hold a paint brush at around 2 years old. She is an innovator at heart and loves experimenting with different medias, creating in various styles. One thing that stands out though is her fascination with skulls and affirmations. She studied the concept of life and death while at school, looking deeply into her heritage and the day of the dead festival (Dia de los Muertos), she creates work that celebrates life while acknowledging death.
