The festival kicks of with the East Coast program (FoV Coastal), and closes with the Finale Concert featuring artists and participants of the 2017 workshops. In between there are massed choirs, one-off contemporary showcase performances, free family and pop up events, and things that are absolutely adults-only!
Program features Toni Childs, The Idea of North, Sarah Blasko, The Umbilical Brothers, Frente, Lady Sings It Better, Sophie Koh, Frances Madden, Dolly Diamond, Kram and many many more.
Choral highlights include Mendelssohn"s Oratorio Elijah, led by the most versatile of conductors, David Lawrence and featuring world class Australian soloists Greta Bradman, Christopher Richardson, Anna Dowsley, and Henry Choo. And Rachmaninoff"s Vigil, directed by Andrew Bainbridge and featuring the Allegri Ensemble. The International Choral Program features the Hong Kong City Choir, the Hong Kong Children"s Choir and the Hangzhou Philharmonic Angel Choir.
