Based in Sydney, Australia, Head On Photo Festival is Australia's leading international photo festival. After its recent successful hybrid program of exhibitions and events in locations across Sydney, it is now looking for diverse, engaging, quality work in all genres across still photography, multi-media and video art to exhibit at the Festival in November 2022.
Head On Photo Festival philosophy is that all photo artists need a fair chance to show their work; proposals submitted through the submission process are judged without the artists' names, so they stand on their merit alone.
The 2022 Festival will be a hybrid of online and physical exhibitions and events to accommodate any changes in Public Health Orders and travel restrictions to ensure that all exhibitions will have visibility and viability. Head On will pivot its Festival program online if required; In 2020 it was the first photo festival in the world to deliver its program entirely online: 13,000 people participated in online workshops and talks, and over 80,000 visited the website and online exhibitions.
The Festival offers an excellent opportunity to exhibit your work, meet and exchange ideas with other artists and creative professionals and be part of an internationally recognized event.
Exhibition submissions close 20 February 2022.
