~ Artist: Adam Graham -
Grew up in Gomshall, Surrey, a small village in South East England. As a child he looked up to his Uncle David and was inspired by his details in the drawings that he created. Graham took that inspiration and integrated that influence into his sculptures. At the age of 20, Adam started working as a traditional Blacksmith. That was where he was taught how to forge wrought iron in the traditional way using a furnace, anvil and handmade custom tongs, also gaining knowledge on MIG welding.
Wikipedia defines MIG Welding as -"Gas metal arc welding (GMAW), sometimes referred to by its subtypes metal inert gas (MIG) welding or metal active gas (MAG) welding, is a welding process in which an electric arc forms between a consumable wire electrode and the workpiece metal(s), which heats the workpiece metal(s), causing them to melt and join."
Adam took his spare time to create art and after attending one of his friends, Dave Howell's art exhibition at the ArtSHINE Gallery he decided to go full into creation. His steel artworks are all unique and all have a signature style with his texture. It is something that everyone needs to see in the complexity technically in what Adam Graham creates.
Suspicious Beginnings is an exhibition that will explore the artists" beginnings and their original inspiration. Bringing together 4 artists for this magnificent exhibition that has steel sculpture, paintings and photography all in one group show"
