HRAFF Presents a preview screening of Bryan Cranston, Diane Lane, Helen Mirren, and Louis C.K. in Trumbo at Cinema Nova on Tuesday 16th February at 7pm.

All proceeds go towards the 2016 Human Rights Arts & Film Festival.

In 1947, the successful career of screenwriter Dalton Trumbo (Breaking Bad's Bryan Cranston) comes to a crushing end when he and other Hollywood figures are blacklisted for their political beliefs. Trumbo tells the story of his fight against the US government and studio bosses in a war over words and the price he paid for his commitment to freedom. With an irrepressible creative talent, Trumbo would find his way back onto the big screen, writing several scripts under pseudonyms during his exile, including Roman Holiday and The Brave One, both of which won Academy Awards under aliases.
