Incinerator Art Award Exhibition 2018
The Incinerator Art Award is the Gallery's annual contemporary art prize of national significance, with entries received from across Australia. The award showcases 33 works inspired by the theme of art for social change.

The 33 works were judged by Mark Feary (Artistic Director at Gertrude Contemporary), Melissa Keys (Curator at Buxton Contemporary) and Miriam Kelly (Curatorial Manager at Australian Centre for Contemporary Art).
Visitors can explore the 33 shortlisted works including The Divide by the $10,000 Boathouse Award recipient Nina Sanadze and Modes of Translations by the $3,000 Incinerator Gallery Award recipient Mia Salsjoe. Visitors can also still vote for the $1,000 People's Choice Award.
The award is inspired by Walter Burley Griffin and Marion Mahony, who believed that art and architecture practices are ethical enterprises that should aim to bring about positive social change.
The Incinerator Art Award exhibition is on until Sunday, 25 November.
