Inspire Festival is designed to evoke inspired thought and positive action, whether that be in your own life, or those around you. Inspire Festival's previous speakers have included Gretchen Rubin (The Happiness Project), Vince Frost (Frost* Collective) and Hannah Pool. This year's program promises to include local and national thought-leaders from a variety of disciplines.
Come along to one of the three sessions; Talk, Democracy or Drive or purchase a Festival pass to experience all three sessions PLUS an exclusive invitation to opening drinks on Friday evening (not available for individual purchase).
More speakers to be announced in early May.
Inspire TALK 10am "“ 11.30am with Stan Grant, Trent Dalton and Robin Bailey In this age of social media, texting and tweets the art of the truly inspiring conversation is being lost. These conversational maestros who have established careers curating and creating intimate portraits of the lives and stories of others share their deep insights into the art of conversation and how we can encourage human connection and conversation.
Inspire DEMOCRACY 12.30pm "“ 2pm with Jan Owen, CEO of the Foundation for Young Australians, Mark Bahnsich, Erik Jensen and Dr Lorann Downer, It's an election year. Once again we will go to the polls and exercise our democratic right to choose who leads our country. What does democracy mean in modern Australia? Do we vote with our heads or hearts and what do we need to consider when we head to the polls later this year.
Inspire DRIVE 3pm "“ 4.30pm Michael Ross, Orange Sky Laundry (Nic Marchesi and Lucas Patchett), Tim Fairfax AM and Catherine McGregor The speakers in this session were all awarded Australian/Queenslander of the Year awards this year. What drives them to follow their dreams, and what inspires them to give themselves so openly to their area of focus.
