The ceramics by Amaya Lang explore the mind body gap "I have a morbid fascination with my own vulnerable corporeality and aim to exploit the abject humour and mutability of the body.". The Surreal paintings of Ryan Saunderson are a mix of whimsy and misery exploring the subconscious angst that haunts this generation. Tom Christophersens exquisite works on paper also take us to a dark place, death is imminent and unavoidable, propelled by a fear of death and beauty to produce powerful haunting images. In contrast the forms both sculptural and on canvas of Yiorio construct and deconstruct an environment some real some imagined.
