Local sister designer duo Julie and Kelly Tran are set to share their creative skills at a jewellery making workshop coming up as part of the Craft Cubed Festival this August.
Aacute X Jewellery Workshops are modelled on the classic geometric polymer clay necklace and earring designs. In association with Colour Box Studio, this workshop will be held at Luxsmith in Seddon. The 2 hour session covers the following: step by step guide on how to design, shape and assemble polymer clay, with a detailed instruction leaflet; use of essential tools and equipment (e.g. Stanley knives, glazes); guided demonstration on baking instructions, product care and maintenance of jewellery designs.
The session includes: materials to make a necklace and pair of earrings; specialty coffee snacks provided by Luxsmith; a goodie bag with an Aacute discount voucher, artist postcards and more, valued at $20.
This workshop is designed to create a relaxed environment for you to meet like-minded people, experiment with jewellery design and most importantly have fun!
