Two of Illawara's leading street artists, Claire Foxton and Mikey Freedom, will paint a colourful and thought-provoking 20-metre mural within the brand new dining precinct at Holm Place in Shellharbour from 24 to 28 August.
Presented by Stockland in association with Verb Syndicate, this unique collaboration between two local artists will see the creation of an innovative large-scale mural that encapsulates the textures of the local area and where the community can revisit the artwork and discover something new each time.
Mikey Freedom is an artist with a versatile style, having a penchant for colour and a love for line. Claire Foxton's art practice explores a hybrid of figurative and abstract painting using traditional and improvised techniques. Together, these artists will use a combination of their skill sets to create a completely unique and original work of art designed specially for the area.
