Love With no Boundaries is a collection of artworks that places children in the presence of large animals. Children have no fear, no prejudices and do things instinctively. By no means am I recommending that children endanger their lives to hug a wild beast. The hug represents our care for all animals, the wonder of being able to love, whomever, no matter the differences? And then, of course..we are all hungry for the innocence of a good hug
The boxlike wooden form of the large artwork's structure symbolises animal transportation and confinement crates with all its imperfections. The harshness of reality contrasting with the softness of a warm hug.
These are RDS firsts, Large scale artworks using brush on wood rather than the usual RDS pen on paper.
Thanks to The Regional Arts Development Fund, a partnership between the Queensland Government and Moreton Bay Regional Council to support local arts and culture in regional Queensland.
While the world is distracted, don't forget that our wonderful wildlife organisations still need our help. https://govolunteer.com.au/
