Join artists Gerry Wedd, Robert Moore, Jon Campbell, Ozzy Wrong and photographer/writer/editor John Witzig for an entertaining insight into the world of art and surfing.

Gerry Wedd: Kitchen Man - JamFactory Icon 2016 and Ripped Off: Gerry's been doing it for years... it's about time someone else got in on the act brings together some of Australia's leading artists, whose work plays with the imagery and folklore of surf culture, whilst "taking the piss" and highlighting the humour, irreverence and anarchy that pervades the scene.

Gerry Wedd, five-times South Australian surf champion and artist came to the attention of Mambo Graphics, the iconic surf-ware company in the late 1980s. There he designed t-shirts and other clothing, posters, ceramics, metalwork and surfboards until 2006. Ceramics is his predominant artistic medium, and is the basis of his new exhibition Kitschen Man - JamFactory Icon 2016.

Gerry has been "ripping off" the imagery of iconoclastic surf photographer, John Witzig, for use in his own work for years. To accompany his Kitschen Man exhibition, Gerry joins fellow Mambo artist Robert Moore, Ozzy Wrong, Jon Campbell and John Witzig himself in Ripped Off. Here, the artists delve into Witzig's rich photographic archive to create new artworks exclusively for the Gallery. Prepare for a free-wheeling and subversive ride through surfing's golden age in Ripped Off!
