The Moreton Bay Printmakers and Friends' exhibition is celebrating 50 years of the Print Council of Australia and its influence on the printmakers involved. The exhibition brings together the talents of guest printmakers Peter Schardin, Ellie Neilsen and members of the Community Printmakers Murwillumbah (Sue Chakos, Emma Jewry, Susan Byrne and Robin Saunders). They join Malcolm Cassidy, Dorle Hannam, Gary Hannam and Maureen van der Zalm from the Moreton Bay Printmakers, to present this first biannual exhibition presented by the Moreton Bay Printmakers' group.

Some of the artists in the exhibition have international experiences and many of them tackle a diverse range of subjects but all are inspired by where they live"”the south east corner of the state of Queensland. This exhibition is made up of the works produced by individual artists; with their own fresh approaches to printmaking.

Printmaking demonstrations will take place in the Gallery from Wednesday 2 November to Sunday 20 November 2016. A timetable is available at the Redcliffe Art Society Gallery.
