Mud Men - Ramesh Mario Nithiyendran installation

Contemporary artist Ramesh Mario Nithiyendran will be installing his site-specific sculpture 'Mud Men' at the NGA from the 25 July. The installation is comprised of five large-scale ceramic sculptures, including four new works that are being exhibited for the first time alongside Self-portrait with third leg 2 which was displayed at the 2016 Adelaide Biennal. Each sculpture is positioned on a custom pedestal made by the artist, and the tallest work measures 5m in height.
