After the success of her fabulous Bali and Umbria Art Retreats, renowned artist Gabrielle Jones will lead two new groups to ravishing Rajasthan, India and Beautiful Burgundy, France. The 12 Day tour in India starts in Delhi in early February, 2017 - the best weather to visit the sub-continent- and takes in the big three: Jodphur, Udaipur and Jaipur. An further 2 day option to extend to visit the Taj Mahal is also available. An English-speaking local guide will be provided to ensure a wealth of knowledge about the forts, palaces and history of the places we will visit; the food is selected for its quality and local specialties; the group all art and culture enthusiasts with a sense of adventure; and your tutor, able to bring out the artistic spirit in everyone!
Burgundy is more of a traditional Art Retreat being held in June, 2017 for one week, immersing us in the beautiful countryside - including the first paintings in pre-historic caves, castles, gardens, vineyards and lakes. Formal workshops with interchange with guided sketching of the local sites and within your Villa's surrounds.
