No Excuses! singing out against domestic violence by Christina Green and Dr Kathleen McGuire at the Melbourne Recital Centre on June 12th
Described as "an emotional and ultimately triumphant journey of strength and hope", No Excuses! focuses on family violence and domestic abuse, with real stories of struggle alongside those of inspirational resilience as shared by women from Melbourne's western suburbs. The full work will be premiered at the Melbourne Recital Centre on 12 June at 2pm. DON"T MISS this opportunity to be there!!! Proceeds support the School of Hard Knocks, which was launched in 2012 as an extension of the work created by Jonathon with the award winning Choir of Hard Knocks in 2006, to empower marginalised and vulnerable Australians through the arts. The School delivers over 50,000 hours of arts and community music programs to over 3,500 Australians and offers programs in Victoria, Queensland and has recently commenced in regional New South Wales.
