PACT Centre for Emerging Artists will present a captivating evening of art, performance, sound and dance in PACT Salon: The Wild Things on Saturday 4th August.
Curated by James Nguyen and Digby Webster, The Wild Things will explore the diversity of our experiences, imaginations and fantasies.
On the night, some of Sydney's most daring emerging artists will act as guides and lead the audience into a world of strange creatures and things, complete with performance, visuals, light and sounds.
Nguyen and Webster are well known Sydney-based artists. Nguyen, who works in documentary practice, installation and performance, has had his work exhibited in multiple galleries both locally and internationally. Webster is known for his bold and colourful oil pastel and ink work, and is a founding member of contemporary performance group, Ruckus Ensemble.
PACT Salons are one-night-only mini festivals that showcase eclectic new works from compelling emerging performance, visual and media artists. Salons are where performance, party and critical dialogue collide to form a unique interactive experience.
