Radical Ecologies @ PICA
Radical Ecologies presents the work of fifteen artists exploring and questioning the complex relationship between our bodies, the natural world and the animal kingdom. With live art encounters and sensorial and experimental visual arts, the artists propose alternative spaces to inhabit, creating genre defying clubhouses where hierarchies dissolve and new landscapes emerge.

The exhibition will feature new work by Western Australian artists practicing at the intersection of design, performance, film, installation, sound and bio-art.
There will be live art encounters, new media and experiments in scent and sound. Audiences will be invited to decipher a romance novel rewritten by termites, to lay down with bees, locate a complex olfactory landscape and listen to whispered ecosexual confessions.
