Roola Boola Children's Arts Festival 2016 is expanding across both weeks of the June/July school holidays and will incorporate several satellite venues with Chapel Off Chapel and Functions on Chapel continuing as the hubs for central festival activity and programming.

This year's program is packed with interactive performances and workshops spanning theatre, dance, music, magic, circus and craft to inspire and encourage kids to get up and moving!

Headlining this year's festival is Australia's 2013 Aria Award winning children's entertainer Justine Clarke who will perform an intimate showing of Justine Clarke Sings! This popular and much loved entertainer will encourage young audiences to engage their imagination through song and movement. Her show features songs kids love and know from all her albums, including A Little Day Out.

Other 2016 festival highlights include Melbourne City Ballet with a performance of Tink, ABC for kids singer songwriter Gillian Eastoe with award winning What Style and We Love Rock 'n' Roll, a unique shadow interpreted performance of Reasons to Stay Inside by Katy Warner and a performance by the Quiet Achievers; both suitable for the Deaf and hard of hearing community.

Some of the workshops on offer Bollywood, Hip Hop, Circus skills with NICA, Sand Art, Monster Making and much more.
