Silver Screen Classics playing this Saturday, presented by Jonathon Welch. A FREE CONCERT in Fitzroy!
Dr Jonathon Welch AM will present Silver Screen Classics, on Saturday, at Australian Catholic University, at 3pm. This spectacular, free concert celebrates beautiful music and also the launch of Jonathon's new vision for arts inclusion for all Australians. A myriad of performers will be joining Jonathon, including Jan van de Stool, 'International Music Therapist' and star of 'Australia's Got Talent' from 2016! Danielle Matthews, the inaugural winner of the prestigious Rob Guest Endowment Award', Adam Przewlocki as our brilliant accompanist and the Footscray-Yarraville City Band conducted by Phillipa Edwards. The concert also includes choirs drawn from our community, right across Melbourne and into regional Victoria.

These choirs are THECHO!R, Divine Divas of Sunbury led by Adam, Latrobe Valley Community Choir, Voices of Casey, Choir of Opportunity, Western Health Singers and the All Together Choir.
Jonathon exclaimed, "My passion is, and has always been, to share the joy of music and to enable music making across all sectors of the community. These ideas have been integral concepts for me throughout my 40 year career in the music industry. I am now so very excited to be able to launch my new vision for inclusive arts programs for all Australians, at this free concert".
