Proudly presented by Collins234, the Striking Film Festival supports emerging Melbourne and student film makers with budgets below $20,000. Enjoy a night of fine wine, gourmet cheese, live entertainment and a dazzling display of short films designed to showcase Melbourne at its best.
Proceeds from the ticket sales will be donated to the Melbourne City Mission Evolution program, helping at-risk youth in Australia to work closely with an artist and develop their own creative skills. The Striking Film Festival has over $2,500 in prize money to be awarded for Most Outstanding Film, Best Student Film, Best Film between $5,000 "“ $20,000, Best Film Under $5,000 and the People's Choice Award. The prizes will be awarded by a panel of celebrities and film industry experts.
The Striking Film Festival opens at 5:30pm with movies beginning at 6:30pm sharp.
