Promising another year of hilarity, the Sydney Comedy Festival (SCF) has unveiled its latest line-up of brilliant comedians from Australia and across the globe, who will have audiences roaring with laughter across Sydney from 24 April to 21 May 2023.
The Festival welcomes powerhouse Australian and New Zealand comedians, including RuPaul’s Drag Race Down Under judge and 2022 SCF Best of the Fest-winner Rhys Nicolson, storyteller and The Project co-host Sam Taunton, the queer cabaret extraordinaire Reuben Kaye, the fierce and fabulous Anita Wigl’it and the self-deprecating wit of Mel Buttle.
Sydney Comedy Festival is also thrilled to be bringing some of the best international acts, including the delightfully charming David O’Doherty, Malaysian doctor-turned-comedian, Jason Leong, the king of observational comedy Seann Walsh, the Scottish sensation Larry Dean, the surreal Indian satirist Daniel Fernandes and the hilarious UK favourite Josie Long.
The Festival will kick off in grand style with the Sydney Comedy Festival Gala at the Enmore Theatre on 24th April, the Pavilion PAC (Sutherland), The Concourse (Chatswood) and Sydney Opera House on 25th April and Riverside Theatres (Parramatta) on 26th April. The Galas will feature a dazzling line-up of the Festival’s funniest international stars, Australian legends and next-big-things in comedy all for one huge night of laughter.
Tickets are on sale now via the Sydney Comedy Festival website, with the final announcement to come in March.
