Beautiful handmade items by local artisans. Come and enjoy the textures and colours of winter during the annual Winter Warmers exhibition by the Alcove Art Shop. During this event, the artisans of the Alcove Art Shop will fill the Box Hill Community Arts Centre gallery with beautifully handcrafted creations celebrating the colours and warmth of winter. ALCOVE ART SHOP - WINTER WARMERS
Alcove Art shop, operated by the Designer Art Shop Association, was established in 2002 to provide an outlet for quality arts and crafts. It is located in, and supported by the Box Hill Community Arts Centre. Practising artists who volunteer in the Shop value contact with the customers at point of sale.The shop promotes artists, and their unique handcrafted work.
Work for sale includes cards, painting, ceramics, textiles, woodcraft, jewellery, handcrafted paper, glassware, basketry, sculpture and much more
