Well respected and renowned for creating unique theatre experiences in the arts and corporate sectors, Melbourne Playback Theatre Company commence their 2016 season on the 10th of March at the Howler arts hub in Brunswick with The F-Word; Celebrating International Women's Day.

The first in a powerful series of Q&A Shows offered by the company in 2016, The F-Word; Celebrating International Women's Day invites Melbourne to join a panel of some of our most prolific and respected feminists as they discuss a variety of subjects, and then watch the Melbourne Playback Theatre Company in an interactive performance.

Panellists for this evening include Clementine Ford (Writer and social commentator), Melba Marginson (Executive Director of the Victorian Immigrant and Refugee Women's Coalition), and Jane Gilmore (Editor of Women's Agenda).

At the conclusion of the panel, stories and experiences from the audience (inspired by the evening's discussions) are invited to be shared, and will then be turned into theatre by a team of highly skilled actors and musicians.

Celebrating 2016 International Women's Day, this particular evening also boasts an all female team. From the MC, Michelle Nussey, and the panel, to the musicians, and actors behind the work that will be presented. It's an all inclusive evening with a confident nod towards all wonderful women.

Melbourne Playback Theatre Company's ensemble of professional actors, musicians and MCs have been captivating audiences for over 30 years with their unique form of improvised theatre, transforming real-life events into powerful and engaging stories on the stage. This one-off event is truly not to be missed.
