Murmuration is an installation by the Windowsmiths a suspended formation of silversmithing pliers, elevated by their display, allows the viewer to gaze and reflect, appreciating this simple tool’s beauty as an extension of the human hand. From a distance, the installation is a murmuration circling the body.
Windowsmiths are a collaboration of artists; Fiona Meller, Marcia Swaby and Helen Wyatt, who apply the traditional tools and skills of silversmithing to their artistic practice.
