D'Angers Gallery is pleased to announce Retrieval, a group exhibition of two local artists Gholamreza Samavi and Adel Sadodin in Semnan, Iran. The exhibition will feature eleven acrylic paintings on canvas and paper which all are created recently. Retrieval will open to the public with a reception from 6:30-8PM on Friday, September 07, and will remain on view through September 18, 2018 (except Saturdays). The exhibition will be accompanied by a fully illustrated catalogue with a foreword written by artist Gholamreza Samavi.

This spectacular, free concert celebrates beautiful music and also the launch of Jonathon's new vision for arts inclusion for all Australians. A myriad of performers will be joining Jonathon, including Jan van de Stool, 'International Music Therapist' and star of 'Australia's Got Talent' from 2016! Danielle Matthews, the inaugural winner of the prestigious Rob Guest Endowment Award', Adam Przewlocki as our brilliant accompanist and the Footscray-Yarraville City Band conducted by Phillipa Edwards. The concert also includes choirs drawn from our community, right across Melbourne and into regional Victoria.

According to Duchamp, three-dimensional things which are familiar to us are merely projections of four-dimensional objects. This being the reasoning behind several of his works and particularly pertinent for his well-known "The Large Glass". Tellingly, Aron Mehzion utilizes a piece of glass in a similar way as a surface to project four-dimensional geometry onto. This makes him the first person since Duchamp to artistically explore conceptual spaces in the fields of physics and, more specifically, in supergravitation and superstring theory.
